The "F" word...

I—yes, I alone—will blot out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again. Isaiah 43:25


How tempting it is to remind someone of a past offense! But when God Forgives our sins he totally forgets them. We never have to fear that he will remind us of them later. Because God Forgives our sin, we need to Forgive others.


One of my biggest struggles is to forgive those who hurt me. After all, they are friends & loved ones, people I care about. That's the reason I let them into my life in the first place! But God calls us to Forgive! Jesus Himself said: "If you forgive the sins of anyone, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” (John 20:23 NIV its in red cuz The man himself said it!) Consider this: "But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." (Matthew 6:15 TNIV) Forgiveness is hard because it means you have to surrender your pain, broken heart etc to Jesus, that's right you have to become vulnerable, open, and brutally honest, and allow The Holy Spirit to do laser surgery on your heart. And finally you have to say "Lord I forgive (name person) for, and (name the offense)", then its in HIS hands and you are free! So go ahead use the F word it's ok!
